If you are an exercise professional how do you measure your year-on-year achievements?
Do you do that based on your year-on-year earnings, addition of new qualifications or other measure?
How do you measure your professional ranking?
What do others see?
If you have a LinkedIn profile you may be familiar with its Social Selling Index (SSI). Essentially this is a measure of how effective you are at establishing your professional brand and you can get your SSI score for free when you click here. It benchmarks you against your peers. It is also a point of reference for your visibility in LinkedIn and that might matter if you are looking to attract a new employer.
This is the SSI for WorkoutWith’s founder Frank Bennett on 25/01/2018.
But that’s not the whole story!
At WorkoutWith we are not convinced that Linkedin is a platform that serves exercise professionals as well as it does some other professionals. Click here to read why that is the case. People looking for a ‘trainer’ do not use LinkedIn. The reason is LinkedIn does NOT provide the granularity of information in a format that is easy to search for a person (your next client!) looking to locate and contact a trainer. For that matter neither do they use Facebook for the same reason and it will cost you money to start promoting on Facebook and take a lot of time to build up a genuine following.
An Up or Down year?
What does Up look like?
- more clients, ACTUALLY more clients that you want
- more recognition from having a professional online presence
What does Down look like?
- same old, same old
that is going backwards
10 minutes to start up your UP year
Create a profile on WorkoutWith – it is free, no strings and takes no more than 10 minutes.
It is your calling card, look me up, just Google me ‘workoutwith your name’ and you will be there on Page 1. Test it out! Look up any trainer with a profile on WorkoutWith and put that in a Google search as “workoutwith their name’. Here is the evidence and a reminder – it’s FREE!
Where are you?
Do you know how hard it is to get on Page 1 of a Google results page as an individual trainer? Try it – put your name in a Google search and see which page you are on.
